Frequently Asked Questions

  • Selecting a senior living community is like buying a home. You can do it on your own – but should you?

You wouldn’t buy a house without understanding the neighborhood, calling an inspector and negotiating the contract. Making a care and living decision should be the same.

The reality is most people don’t know the differences between senior living options, the reliability of the companies who provide it, or how to evaluate care and quality. And the community where your friend’s mom lives may not be right for yours.

While almost every senior living community looks great online, there are real differences. Sarah can help you understand them – and save you time and reduce your stress.

  • Sarah, the owner, combines a compassionate heart with deep training and experience to offer committed, personal service to each family.

  • Because we work personally with each client, only recommend care providers that match your needs and help make moving in easier, senior living communities are happy to pay our fee.

  • Independent living, assisted living and memory care communities typically charge a one-time community fee when a resident moves in. Rent, meals, housecleaning, laundry, social activities, transportation, and other services are included in one monthly payment. Most assisted living communities also add a monthly care fee based on the amount of support each resident needs.

Sarah explains and compares your options so you know what you’re buying. And these rates and fees can often be negotiated.
